Rebecca is thrilled that her pal Kirsten is back from holiday and can´t wait to hear tales of Mickey and Ned in Queensland. Guilty Kirsten struggles with her conscience and decides not to come clean about her affair with Paul. However, Elle realises that Kirsten might not stay silent for long and cooks up a scheme to send her on a training course to the Sunshine Coast. For two years. When Kirsten points out that Paul has already tried to pay her off, Elle threatens to fire her completely. Refusing to give up her new life in Erinsborough without a fight, Kirsten cannily uses her friendship with Rebecca to make sure that Oliver reinstates her. The warring women reach a stalemate with Elle protecting Rebecca and Kirsten desperate to keep her infidelity from Mickey and Ned. Will this uneasy truce last or will everything unravel once Paul returns from Paris?

Although Zeke accepts that getting caught in Taylah´s bedroom hasn´t helped his position with any of the parents, he continues to argue that they´re not doing anything wrong. Banned from seeing each other outside of school, the young lovers rely on their friends to help them come up with opportunities to be together. However, Zeke realises how childish it is for them to sneak around and informs Karl and Susan that he intends to defy their ban. He demands to be treated like an adult… but will the grown ups agree?

Dan and Libby are dragooned into giving Year Eleven dance lessons for the formal. Fearing that such enforced proximity might be awkward, they both try to get out of it. They fail. With no other option but to make the best of a bad situation, Libby schedules some private after-school dance tutoring. Worried that Sam will react badly, Dan lies and claims that he´ll be at a scheduling meeting. Thoughtful Sam decides to take some dinner down to the school… only to find Dan and Libby lost in the romance of the waltz and perilously close to a kiss.
