Neighbours Returns To Its Roots
3rd April 2006
The Neighbours team have responded to the increasing criticism from media outlets about their poor performance over the last few months.
After many months of steady complaints by fans of the show, the additional input from various article writers from publications such as the Herald Sun and TV Week have forced Neighbours hand.
Neighbours is promising a updated look for the show with several new cast members, new sets, new credits and a revamped theme tune. Whilst this may appear to fly in the face of fans established plea to return to basics, the Neighbours team are offering a compromise. They promise that the gimmicky story lines, a lesbian kiss between Pepper Steiger and Rosetta Cammeniti or Paul's increasingly idiotic schemes, introduced to try and attract new viewers will be dialed back in favour of a collection of family oriented story lines many have been calling for.
